Privacy Policy
This page explains what data QuantRoutine collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.
The goal is to run a simple, analytics-light site that respects your privacy while still understanding what content is useful.
1. Controller
Controller: QuantRoutine, The Hague, NL — hello@quantroutine.com.
This policy applies to quantroutine.com and any subpages under this domain.
2. Data we collect
QuantRoutine aims to collect only the data needed to run basic analytics and affiliate attribution.
- Website analytics – aggregated information such as pages viewed, session duration, approximate location (country/city), device type, and referrer. This is used to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used.
-
Affiliate click data – when you click an outbound offer link (for example, a broker button routed through
/go/...), the click may be logged so that QuantRoutine and the affiliate network can attribute sign-ups and commissions. - Newsletter data (if you subscribe) – your email address and optional name, stored by the email provider used to deliver newsletters and updates.
- Contact emails – if you email QuantRoutine directly, the content of the message and your address are stored in the email system.
3. How we use the data
- Site analytics – to understand which pages are useful, fix broken areas, and plan future content.
- Affiliate attribution – to measure performance of outbound links and verify commissions with brokers and affiliate networks.
- Email delivery – to send the emails you explicitly subscribed to (for example, a newsletter), and to manage unsubscribes.
- Support and communication – to reply to messages you send via email or contact forms.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, the main legal bases used are:
- Legitimate interest – for basic, aggregated analytics and affiliate attribution that are necessary to run the site and understand performance.
- Consent – for email newsletters and any optional marketing communications you explicitly opt in to.
- Contract / pre-contractual steps – when responding to direct enquiries or requests you initiate.
5. Data sharing
QuantRoutine does not sell your personal data. Limited data may be shared with:
- Analytics providers – to process anonymised or aggregated usage information (for example, page views).
- Affiliate networks and brokers – when you click an outbound offer link, basic technical information may be passed along (for example, click time, redirect ID) so that referrals can be tracked for commission purposes.
- Email service providers – to store your email address and send newsletters you requested.
- Service providers and hosting – companies that provide hosting, security, and infrastructure for the website.
6. Retention
Data is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:
- Aggregated analytics – typically up to 24 months.
- Affiliate click data – typically up to 24 months, or as required by affiliate networks for validation.
- Email subscription data – until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Direct correspondence – as long as needed to handle the conversation and keep reasonable records.
7. Your rights (GDPR and similar laws)
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as:
- Access to the personal data held about you.
- Correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion of data (where legally allowed).
- Restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
- Objection to certain types of processing.
- Data portability for information you provided.
To exercise these rights, contact hello@quantroutine.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
QuantRoutine aims to keep cookie use limited. If analytics or affiliate tools use cookies or similar technologies, they are used to:
- Measure traffic and performance of pages.
- Track whether a click on an outbound link leads to a sign-up with a partner.
If cookie usage changes materially, this policy and any on-site cookie notice will be updated to reflect that.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The “last updated” date will be adjusted when changes are made. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
